# Energy data

Download hourly production, lifetime forecasts, and P50–P99 estimates.

Source: https://docs.solesca.com/downloads/energy/

Choose **Download › Energy**. In **Download energy**, choose the type under **Data**, review its settings, and click **Download**.

Energy CSV downloads support Solesca Core, Solesca Pro, and NREL SAM. They are not available for SolarFarmer runs. Select a supported model and review the resulting estimate if you need these files.

## Hourly

**Hourly** exports hourly energy data. Enable **One file for the whole design** for a combined file. Turn it off for separate field files in a ZIP.

For eligible SAM designs, **Use legacy v1 columns** provides the older column format. This option is not offered for designs with wired inverter groups.

Check the headers and units in the downloaded file before importing it into another tool.

## Lifetime

Set:

- **Project lifetime**: the number of years in the forecast.
- **In operation from**: the first operating year.
- **Degradation / yr**: the annual reduction in output.
- **Downtime / yr**: the time unavailable each year.

You can set downtime year by year when using Solesca Core or Pro. Review each year's assumptions before exporting.

## P50–P99

**P50–P99** provides energy estimates at different exceedance probabilities. These help compare uncertainty assumptions; they do not guarantee the site's future production.

For the meaning of common results, see [Definitions](https://docs.solesca.com/reference/definitions/).
